Welcome to the Year 10 World War 2 blog. On this blog we will be exploring some of the battles of World War 2 and their place in the outcome of World War 2.

While researching use this blog to write about not only what you are learning but what questions you have and what you are confused by.

As you research and read about the various battles consider:  Could this happen again? What made people follow the ideas of the military expansionists in Japan and Germany? Does the end justify the means

The project

You are to research one of the main battles in either the Pacific or European theatre. You may work alone or with a partner. There are 3 parts to the project:

  1. Produce a powerpoint to be presented to the class. This is not an oral presentation
  2. At the start of your research, in the middle and at the end each group must log at least 4 comments about their research. Each person must log two of them. In addition each person must comment on at least two of their peer’s work
  3. You are to summarize the battle and add it to the google map. The link is at the right side of the blog. Add photos, videos and audio to it.

Remember to keep an accurate list of all sites used and when you used them, and a list of references.
